I’m Brian Hans, a botanist out of UW Madison. I formed EarthMimic to convert the multi-million tons of bio-waste produced annually into value-added products in a sustainable & green manner.

Waste streams include animal manure, paper sludge, agriculture and food industry waste and other painful bio-wastes that are often an economic and ecological liability.

EarthMimic converts these waste streams into valuable product lines for the horticulture industry, into industrial and high tech raw materials, into coal and other energy products.

EarthMimic is a green chemistry, sustainable manufacturing company set up to utilize state of the art technology, coupled with our own IP-protected innovations. The most exciting of these is a conversion technology that carbonizes wet biomass into various carbon NEGATIVE products, efficiently and profitably.

After bootstrapping the research and development including a prototype, EarthMimic is looking for a first round equity investment of $500,000 for equipment & product development.

EarthMimic will also aggressively seek grants and partners. EarthMimic’s seasoned team of professionals will partner with experts in business and academia to create a highly profitable, fast growth, green company based right here in Wisconsin.
